Week 35

Time really flies.... I am now into my 35th week of pregnancy. About one more month and Ilis will be out to meet everyone.

Had a check-up this morning. It was a routine one with no major hiccups. Ilis is now weighing 2.3 kg.... that explains why I have been feeling soooo tired lately!

Protect her mummy

Sometimes when I think about Ilis, I believe that she is here to protect me. You see, I have not been having a good time at work. I dread to go to work each morning and when at work, I just wish that time flies faster so that I can knock off quickly.

Ever since Ilis is conceived, I find that she has 'helped' me to fob off a lot of unnecessary work. One of my colleagues has tendered her resignation. I strongly believe that if I do not have Ilis, I will have to take over all my colleague's job duties. That will be a real disaster for me!

Ilis, mummy just want to let you know that I really appreciate your 'help'. Mummy loves you just as much as I love your brother!

See you soon.....

Sick

Oh no, I still have not recovered from the sore throat and cough which I had since Friday. I decided to visit Dr Ang to get some pregnancy safe medications and to check if Ilis is all right with this sickness.

I went to Dr Ang in the evening and as usual, his clinic was crowded. After much waiting, I finally got to see Ilis again on the ultrasound machine. She wasn't affected by my illness. In fact, she is still as healthy as before and weighs a 1.9 kg now!

It is certainly a relief to know everything is well. I must quickly concentrate on getting well, so that Ilis will not 'suffer' with my constant coughing.
